Anna Terry has a 25 year multifaceted background as a professional actress, spokeswoman, singer/songwriter and voice-over artist.  Anna has voiced thousands of radio/television commercials for clients like Chili's,  Samsung, BJ’s Restaurant, Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus,  Nokia, JC Penney, Red Robin, Elta MD and many more.  Anna earned a  BFA in Radio-TV-Film and works as a film actress alongside her family of actors including her husband and two sons.  Anna volunteers her time mentoring young actors as the Membership Chair for Women in Film Dallas. 

She is also a fitness professional and motivates clients using group fitness as a vehicle to teach mental toughness and discipline through classes and her fitness page, Life Girl Fitness.

Although Anna Terry, has been acting in the Film and Television Industry for 24 years, she recently made her directorial debut in 2018 for a music video production that was just recently awarded a prestigious Telly Award.  Not only did she produce and direct, she also wrote and performed the original tune written about her boys called, Sweeter on the Vine.

At the prompting of her sound engineer, Dave Walser, to produce a video,

she wrote a script about a 1940’s military family and cast her family of actors in their respective roles. Anna said that working alongside her husband of 22 years and two sons is always an honor, but the Texas mom jokingly said that her sons were definitely doing mom a big favor being a part of her first time directing endeavor. 

The multi award winning video featured and hosted by the USA Film Festival's 'Tex Fest' and was chosen to screen in the Women in Film International screening featured among a select few films out of submissions made from around the world.  From there, she was noticed by a producer from WFAA Channel 8, who was also a member of Women Film Dallas, who came to her home and interviewed her for a special Mother's Day Feature for the Dallas CBS affiliate’s social media platform  where the video was received with great response on CBS' "First Listen".

Her video was also an official selection in the Inspired Faith Film Festival, Female Filmmakers Film Festival, and a finalist in the International Short Film Competition at the USA Film Festival. 

Currently, Sweeter on the Vine was up for four award nominations with the Content 18 Film Festival sponsored by Christian Media Association, including Best Music Video, Best Set Design, Best Cinematography, and Best work by a first time producer.  She recently received the award for “Best Music Video” and “Best Cinematography” from the Content 18 Festival.

 

Anna was invited to be interviewed on The KAAM 770AM Christian Radio Station for their weekly show, "Churches in Action", hosted by Tiffany Jones.

She performed her song live along with the SOTV Video and Cellist Steve Gilbert at the 2018 Banquet benefitting the Parent Compass TV Show.  She and Steve are available for private parties.

 

Anna stated that she never anticipated such an outpouring of support and is very humbled and grateful to her family and peers who have all contributed.

 

Anna is a wife and mom and has been married to her very best friend, Todd, for  23  years They have two precious sons,  Austin Terry , 22 and Conner, 16.
